Acharya Ngima Sange


 
Acharya Ngima Sange Sherpa is our second resident lama and teacher in our center in Kathmandu.  He grew up in Dolkha, a Himalayan district of Nepal, where he attended lower secondary school. After receiving first teachings on Buddhism at the age of ten he was deeply inspired to become a monk and in 2000 entered into monastery in Kathmandu. There he began his studies of Tibetan and Buddhist philosophy and has been teaching himself since 2010. In 2013 he gained the Acharya degree from Karma Lekshey Ling Shedra in Swayambhu, Kathmandu.


He received:
Sharmana vow from Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.
Full of monks ( Bikshu) vow from H.E. Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoche.
All three vows of the Pratimoksha, the Bodhisattva, and Mantrayana.
Many initiations and reading transmissions from many genuine reincarnate lamas and other holders of the teaching. Further, he studied the various sciences and the main treatises.
 
Experiences:  
Teaching the root text and commentary of Buddhist philosophy from 2010,
Teaching Tibetan Grammar etc. written by Indian and Tibetan Scholars of Buddhism from 2010.
Performing Buddhist ritual activities from 2000.
Languages:
Tibetan, Nepali, English, Chinese, Hindi and Sherpa.
